Lost Gravity

Lost Gravity blends the combat and itemization of Action RPGs with the quick missions of Roguelikes, aiming to eliminate the grind often found in traditional ARPGs. Instead, it emphasizes diverse character builds and encourages creative experimentation.

The game features both single-player and networked co-op modes, offering flexibility in how you play. While still in development, Lost Gravity is steadily evolving towards a feature-complete experience.

Game Loop

The player will create a character and go on missions. Each mission requires the player to make their way through the level and defeat a boss, as the player progresses the difficulty will increase and new mechanics will be added.

There is no experience in the game. Everything is based off currency, this includes purchasing weapons and armor, purchasing abilities and upgrading abilities.

Ability System

Abilities in the game are essentially items that can be equipped and unequipped and usually require a specific weapon equipped but not always. The system is node based; you equip the ability, upgrade it and assign points to nodes for each upgrade.

There are also node slots which can be socketed with generic modifiers such as adding and extra ability charge or causing enemies killed to explode on death. the purpose of these modifiers is to provide refined control over each equipped ability
